      LOGO TYPE

     There are generally four main categories of logos:

     1. Symbol logo

  Abstract symbol reflecting your business

     2. Graphic logo

  A symbol directly illustrating your business

      3. Name logo

  The letters in your business name being used to illustrate your business

     4. Unique font type logo

  A unique font type developed specifically for you company

     Choosing logo types will depend on what kind of company you are and
  what you want to communicate. For example, craftsmen often choose
  concrete symbols (Nr. 2, Graphic logo or Nr. 3, Name logo) to easily
  illustrate the kind of craftsmanship they offer. Consultant agencies, or other
  creative businesses use abstract symbols (Nr. 1, Symbol logo) to give their
  customer a certain type of creative appeal. IT and software companies are
  always depending on being the latest with the newest solutions. This may
  be illustrated through using futuristic font types (Nr. 4, Unique font type
  logo). There is of course no reason why you should not use an abstract
  symbol if you are a carpenter. This could be a way of standing out from the
  crowd. It is all about what kind of profile you want your company to have.
    There is no ”best solution”. The solution depends on who your are
  and what you want to be perceived as.
